Review: Calvin Klein Eternity Aqua for Women

Part of GlamourBox’s November box is a sample of Calvin Klein’s Eternity Aqua for Women. It was launched just this year, while its counterpart for males debuted in 2010.

It’s a clean, fresh fragrance with top notes of white peony, pink lady apple, cucumber, and apricot; middle notes of jasmine, tiare, gardenia and magnolia; and base notes of sundrenched woods, cedar, and transparent musk. Combined, it’s sophisticated yet natural. At first spritz the scent is reminiscent of a crisp ocean breeze – not overpowering at all, and perfect for the tropical humidity of late or for the summer. Unfortunately, it fades too soon; it hardly registers two hours later, though perhaps layering it with body lotion would allow the scent to linger. Overall, the scent is lovely – but its staying power could be better.
