Kosmea’s Rosewater Mist is one of the items I really liked in the GlamourBox December box. I love mist sprays; living in a tropical country, where it’s often hot and humid, having a bottle handy can keep you cool and refreshed. I currently have two bottles I’m still finishing – from Mario Badescu and Sonya’s Garden – but Kosmea’s is a wonderful addition.
Full Ingredients: Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Water, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Geraniol, Citronellol, Eugenol.
As the name implies, this product is made from rose petals distilled into pure rose flower water. Rosewater has a number of benefits. It helps to hydrate and tone the skin, so it can be used in place of a toner in your skin regimen. It can quench dry skin and can also balance oiliness. It can be used to set makeup and remove it, too. There are so many other uses that it seems like when you get a bottle of rosewater mist, you’re actually buying multiple products in one!
My personal favorite use for it is as an after-exercise refresher. I’ve gone back to doing yoga and a spritz or two really does refresh your senses and soothes overheated skin. I’m sure it’ll be great as well for long travels and as a midday pick-me-upper at work, so I’m keeping the bottle in my bag.
Hip Tip: Keep Hydrating Rosewater Mist in the fridge during the Summer for a instantly refreshing wake-up call!
The Kosmea Rosewater Mist 125ml bottle retails for AUD$24.95, but you can get it for PHP850 from the GlamourBox online boutique.
You can visit the Kosmea website to get to know more about the brand and their other products. This Australian natural skincare company was founded by Marie Jenkins, and it all started when she discovered the benefits of rosehip oil. As for her vision and motivation:
“When I started Kosmea, I wanted to change the way people cared for their skin by bringing innovative, natural products within everyone’s reach. It gives me so much satisfaction to hear from customers who have used Kosmea and have experienced the benefits of healthier, balanced skin — it’s the best part of my job!” — Marie Jenkins, founder
